I don't know a whole lot about superheroes. I'll watch the movies and buy the merchandise if I like them based on looks or plot. My 21 year-old daughter is more schooled on who's who. Her favorite is Batman but she has an admiration for all the other warriors.
A character known to many of superhero fandom is Iron Man. He is a fictional superhero of the Marvel Comics franchise who wears a powered suit of armor to protect the world. He's quite the renegade!
I received an Iron Man War Machine Lithograph and Shelby immediately took to it. It's now displayed on the living room wall of her apartment.
"Iron Man War Machine" was created by staff artists inside Marvel. It features Tony Stark with his Iron Man arsenal, comprised of a multitude of "Mark" versions of his suit. The iconic bachelor scientist appears on the left side of the piece in civilian clothes, as if to highlight his ability to transition from impressive man to even impressive superhero combo of man and machine. In the background, a dulled shadow of the original Iron Man suit from his first comic appearance emphasizes Iron Man's technological transformation through the ages.
The lithograph is 13x18 in size and includes a Certificate of Authenticity on back. It is a limited edition of 1000. The lithograph is edged with a black mat and has a Marvel logo embossed on front. This collectible piece would make a wonderful holiday gift for anyone who is a fan of Marvel comics or Iron Man.
