Our world is constantly being introduced to new toys and technology. And that's quite all right. But sometimes it's wonderful to explore the days of yore. It doesn't have to be all about computers and electronics.
Some toys of yesteryear are still around, and are as much fun to play with as the newest playthings. For instance, the Etch A Sketch brings back fond memories of my childhood. And I love that it's still in existence.
Etch A Sketch, the World’s Famous Drawing Toy® turned 55 in 2015! It's a simple apparatus that can bring about hours of fun. It requires no batteries, just an imagination. With the classic Etch A Sketch®, children can twist and turn to create pictures. Just turn both the horizontal or vertical knobs and watch the magic screen as lines begin to form. With some creativity, you can make objects appear out of lines. When finished, just shake it and start the fun all over again. I can't draw to save my soul but still get a kick out of the Etch A Sketch.
When doing your holiday shopping this year, be sure to keep in mind the toys and games that have stood the test of time, like the Classic Etch A Sketch.
Win It!
One person will win a Classic Etch A Sketch.

Yep, I think I had more than one :)
We had several of these! My brother had a tendency to break the screen, and all the little black pieces of sand fell out everywhere. My mom then always swore she'd never get us another - but she always did! scain54(at)aol(dot)com
Between my 2 sisters and I we probably had a few of them. We had so much fun! When my daughter was little she had one and we had fun making tall buildings and square fish. Lol! Thank you for the chance :)
