1 cup freshly ground Community® coffee
5 tsp. ground cardamom
3 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
7 cup water
Using an electric mixer, beat whipping cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Then, add powdered sugar and continue beating. Place ground coffee, cardamom, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a coffee filter. Using spoon, mix gently. Add water to your coffee maker and brew to your liking. Next, divide coffee among 8 cups. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream and serve piping hot.
I'm no virtuoso when it comes to coffee. I'm a simple layman that knows what I like and don't know much about the science behind the perfect brew or blend. If I find a brand of coffee that suits my taste buds, I will happily dabble in trying their different varieties. One company that I recently became acquainted with is Community Coffee. I must say that I'm impressed with the boldness and flavor.
Community Coffee has been around for some time, but I just recently learned of it. The company is a retail coffee brand that selects, roasts and perfects great-tasting blends for coffee lovers everywhere.
From sourcing their beans at coffee farms around the globe, to tasting the finished product at their own kitchen table, it’s all part of the commitment to being the best coffee company in America, every day.
I do not own a Keurig at home but there's a shared machine at work. I received three single-serve packs of Community Coffee pods to sample. In each package were 12 K-Cup Pods. Golden Caramel was my favorite of the three. It had a slight buttery caramel flavor with the dark body brew. There was also the Café Special and French Roast blends. Both were dark in color and bold in coffee flavor. The French Roast was the darkest and most intense of the three.
I may be no expert and knowing my coffee terms but I'm an expert in what I like to drink. Community Coffee knows their stuff and I was very pleased with how each cup of roasted coffee tasted.
