Holiday Gifting from Hickory Farms - Review

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
Usually every year at my local mall there is a Hickory Farms store set up during the holidays. I like to shop there and get a few gifts for my loved ones. I have no idea why, but there is no such store at the mall this year. That is disappointing because I like to get a few things for myself while I'm shopping for gifts for others. On the plus side, I can purchase Hickory Farms sausage and cheese gifts, and other delectable food online.

This year, Hickory Farms is proud to introduce the Simply Hickory Farms™ line of gifts featuring Natural Beef Sausage, Natural Cheeses and other specialty foods, simply made with simple ingredients. Hickory Farms has also introduced White & Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark, Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, four Holiday Cookie gifts and Three Pepper Dry Salami.

I received the Simply Savory Deluxe Gift Crate for review.  Included in it was:

(2) 7 oz. Beef Sausage
• 5 oz. Medium Cheddar
• 5 oz. Creamy Gouda
• 5 oz. Apricot Spread
• 4 oz. Mixed Nuts
• 4 oz. Nut Snack Mix
• 1.5 oz. Sea Salt Flatbread Crackers
• (11 oz.) Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
• (8.5 oz.) Smokey Onion Mustard

That's a lot of yummy goodness! Some of the stuff I had never tried before, but I wanted to see if it was good as the other Hickory Farms food that I have tasted. I already knew I liked their summer sausages, but I soon learned that their spreads, cheeses, and other condiments were just as tasty. Me, my husband, and kids enjoyed making our own creations and tasting the different flavors.  The cheeses, sausage, and nuts were wrapped in individual packaging.  The goodies were packed in a wooden crate which can be used for other purposes.  Right now, I have the crate adorned with Christmas décor.

Hickory Farms continues to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign, working to end childhood hunger in America. For each Signature Party Planner Gift Box sold during holiday season, Hickory Farms will donate $5 to the effort, and customers can make donations of their own at the time of purchase. To date, Hickory Farms has contributed more than $4 million to the campaign. Hickory Farms has a proud tradition of supporting the military and offers complimentary shipping on select gifts to military addresses around the world throughout the year.

Hickory Farms has been around for years and it's easy to see why. Their edibles are delicious and the company continually strives to improve.
