Holiday Gifts That Give Back with Kohl's Cares - Review

I received products for review from Kohl's.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Kohl’s invites families to put the Kohl’s Cares collection under their trees and into their stockings this holiday season. Designs from some of author Nancy Tillman’s most beloved stories and characters have made their way into Kohl’s stores nationwide and on Each piece is priced at $5 each and will be available through December 24. Families will make story time memories with this lovely collection which gives back to the community as 100 percent of the net profit supports children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

When I walk into our local Kohl's store one of the first things I notice is the Kohl's Cares merchandise display. I'm drawn to it because the products are very affordable and monies from the sale of the collection supports children's health and education initiatives nationwide. It's a win, win!

The new Kohl's Cares collection includes:

Holiday Delights Recipes, Crafts and Gifts Book

Blake Shelton Christmas CD

20-piece ''Color Me Christmas'' Card Set

2016 Nancy Tilman Calendar

I'd Know You Anywhere, My Love book

On the Night You Were Born book

Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You book

You're Here For A Reason book

Polar Bear plush

Panda plush

Elephant plush

Giraffe plush

Although you don't have to purchase a book that coordinates with the plush, both together are a perfect combination. The storybooks are a wonderful read all on their own, but the plush give an added touch. The plush are super soft and adorable.  The books are hardcover and written for young children.
Adult coloring books are all the rage, and now you can color your own Christmas cards with the 20-piece ''Color Me Christmas'' Card Set.  I've been working on coloring the cards to send out to friends and family.  There are 20 cards with four designs and envelopes for each card.  The insides are blank to write your own Christmas message.  Along with the cards, the set includes three markers - green, red, and blue.

My oldest step-daughter loves everything about Christmas, including the music.  She's also a fan of Blake Shelton.  So she's been listening to the Blake Shelton Christmas CD quite often.  There are ten songs to the CD to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Kohl’s Department Stores is committed to giving back to the communities it serves by supporting kids' health and education nationwide through its philanthropic platform Kohl’s Cares. Since 2000, Kohl's has raised more than $274 million for kids health and education initiatives through the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program, recognized more than 22,000 outstanding kids through the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program and donated more than 3.2 million hours of associate volunteer time through the Associates in Action volunteer program.

Have you ever purchased anything from the Kohl's Cares collection? Which item from this newest collection is your favorite?
