Random Tuesday Thoughts - Christmas Shenanigans

It may be Christmas week but it's also Random Tuesday Thoughts Day!  If you'd like to play along, link up at Stacy Uncorked.
------------------------------
I won't drown y'all with Bah Humbugs, but I'm ready for Christmas to be over.  I'm not even prepared for it yet.  Today I MUST get it all done.  No more excuses.

As soon as Christmas is over, I have to take down the tree and rearrange my front room into a bedroom.  My mother is coming home from the nursing home and her bedroom is too small for a hospital bed.  She has improved (with lots of help from God and therapy) but her mobility is still very limited.  Hence the hospital bed.  And a wheelchair.
-----------------------
The nursing home held their Christmas party a few days ago.  Me and Jason went up to be with mom.  Santa showed up and we gorged ourselves on food while listening to someone sing Christmas music.  Although she's in a nursing home, I'm blessed that mom is in one that is so good to her and treats the residents so well.
-------------------------
Misty, my new kitty, has adjusted well to our home.  She's spoiled like nobody's business.  Once in a while the dog while try to show Misty who's boss but, for the most part, it's a happy pet menagerie.
-----------------------------
Speaking of animals, is this not the ugliest one you've ever seen?!

Chipmunk is a Chinese Crested Somethin' Somethin' and belongs to a friend of mine.  I hung out at her house the other night and this creature decided to become my lap dog.  If reincarnation were in fact real, this poor dog got the raw end of the deal.

----------------------------------------
Sunday night our small group got together for our Christmas party.  We went out to the field and shot guns, ate more than we should have, sang Karaoke, and played 'Pie Face'.

Word is that Pie Face is a popular game this year.  It definitely brings on lots of laughs....and anxiety.
-----------------------------------
A friend gifted us with a year's membership to Sam's Club for Christmas.  It's been years since I've shopped there.  What's the best things to buy there?
-------------------------------
Well, I'm not getting any Christmas stuff done by being on here.  Guess I better get busy.  How's your holidays been so far?  Hope they're wonderful.  Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.  Happy RTT!

Aww, Chipmunk looks like...like he has a nice personality :) Dogs with the dangle-y tongues weird me out!

Good to see your mom up and enjoying the holidays. I bet your cat will be a good companion for her. There's nothing like a purring kitty in your lap to lift the spirits!

Christmas is at my house this year and my sister said she was going to buy and bring Pie Face. While it sounds fun, I secretly hope she forgets to bring it or that the stores are sold out so I don't have to clean up whipped cream covered floors and children all night long...sigh....Merry Christmas!

Ugly dog, but oh, so cute!

I am ready for the season to be over, too. It just really hasn't felt like Christmas this year. My holiday spirit is way down.

We only keep our Sam's Club membership for their 3 pack of Home Run Inn pizza. It's my husband's favorite!

Stopping in to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas!

Trust me, I completely understand the holiday anxiety and stress. This year it just hasn't felt like Christmas; I've been so up and down with my health that I JUST got my boyfriend's family done within the past two days and I see them tomorrow and Christmas. LOL
