The Coloring Cafe: Inspired Heart - Adult Coloring Book Review and Giveaway

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

In the beginning of October my mother was in the hospital. I spent several nights in there with her. To pass the time, my sister purchased an adult coloring book and coloring pencils for me. From then on, a hobby was born. I found that coloring helps relieve stress and takes my mind off things. It's beneficial mental relaxation. My mother has taken up the hobby too, and spends time coloring in pages. It's been a whirlwind of gel pens, pencils, and markers!

One company that I've come across and really like for their adult coloring books is The Coloring Café.  Theirs is one of the first set of coloring books I started with.  I've since built on my collection, with books from other artists.  It's not that I don't like the others, but The Coloring Café books rank at the top for my favorites.  The designs are whimsical, uplifting, and light-hearted.  The patterns are enjoyable to color.  They're intricate, yet not exhausting.

With a selection of coloring books, kits and party packs written and illustrated by Ronnie Walter, The Coloring Café is quickly moving up in the ranks of Amazon and is selling several thousand copies a month. There are several versions available, with new titles planned for release several times a year.
a coloring page "Enjoy the Little Things" hangs on a corkboard above my study desk.

One of the adult coloring books, Inspired Heart, is designed with reflections and positive messages.   There are 48 pages of delightful illustrations, sayings, and drawings.  Each page is blank on the back.  I'd prefer if the pages were perforated but there's still enough leeway on each one to carefully cut them out without cutting into the design.

Ronnie Walter is an amazing illustrator and it shows in her blank coloring pages.  I've enjoyed spending my time coloring in the blanks to create my own pretty picture.  I've used a few of the finished pieces as artwork throughout my home and have given some to others to lift their spirits.

Win It!

So far I just broke into the adult coloring book scene (I've been coloring with kids books and crayons for years) so I can't really say which medium I'd like better but my guess is colored pencils because they have the ability to blend.

Thank you for this great giveaway! :)
