My kids may be in their teens and above, but I'm on the up and up with which kids' shows are trending. I have several nieces and nephews who keep me in the know. A favorite among the little ones is Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. The television program is targeted towards preschoolers and its main character is Daniel Tiger. It's a cute show that teaches values and morals.
I had the opportunity to gather some of the wee ones in the family for a viewing party of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Would You Be Mine? , the newest DVD from the series. It was a low-key affair, but we had fun. I set out snacks and used Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood party supplies from Buy Seasons. With party plates, cups, streamers, napkins, silverware and more, we were set for a viewing party.
With a run time of 120 minutes, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Would You Be Mine? contains a total of eight episodes. Although we watched the DVD closer to Valentine's Day, it can be viewed by youngsters all year 'round. Each episode focuses on the theme of love. Although the kids liked all the episodes, their favorite was 'Daniel and Miss Elaina Play Rocketship' where Daniel and Miss Elaina learn that they can use their imaginations when special pieces become broken, and that friendship is an important part of life.
Great-niece, MaKynzee, watching the DVD with my cat
