Random Tuesday Thoughts - Monster Jam and Super Sales

It's another Tuesday and another edition of Random Tuesday Thoughts, hosted by Stacy Uncorked.  If you'd like to play along, link up at her place.
--------------
Friday night I attended a Jamberry Nails party at my sister-in-law's home.  And I got suckered in to hosting a party of my own at a later date.

Although I had fun hanging out with the girls, the best part was having my brother help file my nails.  He sometimes comes across with a ruff and gruff persona, but he's got a soft side too.
------------------------
Jason and I were asked to be Section Leaders at church.  It means we will be helping "Make the Big Church Small".  Because the church is so large, sometimes people can get lost in the shuffle.  It will be our job to help people connect, get to know others, and become involved.
--------------------------
I don't go to Shopko very often because I think they overprice on purpose, but I've been there twice recently for their sales.  I purchased 8 shirts, 2 underwear, 3 bras, 1 pair ballet flats, 1 pair socks, and 2 ball caps for less than one hundred dollars.  That's my kind of deals!
------------------------
I've attended a fair share of Monster Jam events in the city where I live.  It's always held at an outdoor raceways venue and, because my husband takes part in Tough Trucks during halftime, we get backstage access.  That means we're up close and personal with the Big-Timers.

We attended Monster Jam in St. Louis on Saturday.  Although it's the same premise as anywhere else, this event was on a larger scale.  The trucks went balls to the wall with their stunts.  It was an adrenaline rush.

-----------------------
I noticed that Six Flags opens on Easter weekend this year.  I purchased a Gold Level Season Pass this year (first time doing that) and plan on making as many trips as possible.  I'll be spending the holiday with Bugs Bunny instead of the Easter Bunny.
-----------------------
That's my randomness for the week.  What's been going on with you?
Ever attend a Monster Jam event?  Are you a fan of Six Flags?  What great shopping deals have you come across lately?

(Monster Jam events) My son and daughter-in-law just took my grandson to a Monster Jam event in the Madison, W.I. area a couple of weeks ago. He really enjoyed it. He is a big fan of anything to do with cars, trucks, and earth moving equipment.

I went to a Six Flags once when I was a kid. Philadelphia I think it was?? All I remember is that it was Awesome!!! This was before we had the big Canada's Wonderland park, so there were not a lot options up here. I'd love to take the kids to one.
Never been to a Monster Truck - I bet my son would think it's pretty cool. Probably for the snow cones. ha.

I love monster Jam events, too bad there are none in my area.

Not too much going on with me this week. I was able to sell several pieces of low to medium priced jewelry so those will be going out in the mail today.

Other than that just trying to survive the full moon and mother nature's fury >.<

I can't say I've ever been to a Monster Jam event or Six Flags before. I went to a Kentucky Kingdom when I lived in KY but it's been YEARS since then. I'd like to be able to go one day just to say I went :)

Hope the rest of your week is fantastic!
