Celebrate Easter with PLAYMOBIL Eggs Collection - Review

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
Easter is one of my favorite times of the year, for several reasons.  One is those is making up the baskets and filling them with candy and toys.  I also enjoy taking the young'uns to Easter egg hunts to see the excitement of what the eggs may hold.

This Easter, PLAYMOBIL is cracking open some fun with the new 2016 PLAYMOBIL Eggs collection. There are no batteries, downloads, or remote controls required, just a child’s creativity to add to their Easter holiday fun!

Each egg comes with a PLAYMOBIL figurine and fun accessories that match the theme of the egg.
Inside each egg, the pieces are packaged so they don't fall out when the egg is opened.

There are four different colors and themes to choose from with the PLAYMOBIL Eggs collection.
This year’s collection includes Zookeeper with Alpaca, Pirate on Treasure Hunt, Mermaid with Seahorses and Soccer Player with Goal.
I received the Soccer Player with Goal set.  Illustrated instructions were included to show which pieces needed to be placed where.  This set was easy to assemble and needed only a couple pieces snapped into place.  There are also several white numeric stickers so a child can stick their favorite team number on the back of the figurine's jersey.

As for the large plastic egg itself, there's a slot on the bottom, allowing it to also double as a piggy bank.

I think the PLAYMOBIL Eggs Collection is a fantastic addition to any Easter basket.  Or, they would serve well as fun prize eggs to be found in an Easter egg hunt.

My nieces would have a blast finding an egg like this.A toy and an egg all in one is brilliant. We put quarters and dollars in a few eggs that we hide for the kids. We let the babies(1 yr & 22 mo.) first so the big kids dont grab everything.Id like to have some of these eggs for next yr.
