John Frieda Luxurious Volume - Hair Care Review

I received products for review from John Frieda.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
John Frieda, known for its haircare products, is a brand that I use often on my hair.  I like how it makes my hair feel and that it works as intended.

I recently had the opportunity to review the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray and Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse.  I'm no hairstyle connoisseur and usually keep my hair the same styles.  But I still use hairstyling products often and what I use at any given time depends on how I'm styling my hair.

I tend to use the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse after I've washed my hair and it's still wet. Now with Caffeine Vitality Complex, the mousse adds lasting fullness without a crunchy feel.  It takes just a small amount to work.  A thick, white foam is dispensed when the nozzle is pushed.  I work it into my hair evenly, after spreading the mousse between the palms of my hands.

I use hairspray almost every day.  The Forever Full Hairspray has just the right amount of formula.  It's not too sticky or too light, and my hair doesn't feel weighed down.  It tends to hold my style in place for a few hours. It is also formulated with Caffeine Vitality Complex.

THE LOOK: A voluminous textured top knot that is romantic and whimsical.

INSPIRATION: Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel gave Saoirse Ronan a beautiful top knot for the SAG Awards.

How To Get The Look: (as told by Adir)

•I applied NEW John Frieda Luxurious Volume® Perfectly Full™ Mousse all over the roots through mid-shaft on towel dried hair. I then hand dried the hair and took a large round brush to create a soft voluminous blowout.
•Then I used a 1 1/4" curling on large sections of hair to create random waves and texture.
•Next, I took a comb and teased the roots of her hair and pulled it loosely into a top ponytail leaving some height around the front.
•Then I took the ponytail and back combed it prior to wrapping it around in a big deconstructed bun and pinning it in place.
•I locked the look down with NEW John Frieda Luxurious Volume® Forever Full® Hairspray.
•I made sure some pieces fell around the hairline for a more whimsical and romantic effect.

My flat, limp hair could really use these products. I am always looking for new products to try to create fuller hair.

I really like John Frieda products too. I'm currently using a mousse and a volumizing spritzer.
