My Review:

The third book in the Mended Heart series, Jilted tells of a man and woman who have feelings for each other, but first must let go of their past. The main reason this book is so successful is because of the chemistry between the two leads. They were both fantastic. The author committed to making the relationship between the two characters very believable.  Lynda, the main female lead, struggles with depression and being a single mother.  Clyde, an ex-convict, has his eye on her while the townspeople have their eye on him.

Because there are a lot of people involved in this book I, at first, had a hard time keeping everybody and their roles straight.  Other than that, I enjoyed the plot and how it played out.  It is not necessary to read the first two books in the series, but I think it helps with character development.

This is a well-written novel with a Christian theme.  There's romance, mystery, and relatable situations.
