Postcard Colouring Books - Review and Giveaway

I received products for review from Phoenix Yard Books.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

About a year ago my sister introduced me to adult coloring books, and a hobby was born. I found that coloring helps relieve stress and takes my mind off things. It's beneficial mental relaxation. It's been a whirlwind of gel pens, pencils, and markers!

One company that I've come across and really like for their adult coloring books is Phoenix Yard Books.  Based out of the UK, their adult coloring books are quickly moving up in the ranks.  I received books from them a few months back, and recently had the opportunity to review two new ones.

One of the newest in the collection is The One and Only Elephant Parade Postcard Colouring Book.

Elephant Parade®is a social enterprise who runs the world’s largest art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. Now, the Elephant Parade® has teamed up with One and Only Colouring! The One and Only Elephant Parade Postcard Colouring Book has taken the unique designs painted on the elephants in the Elephant Parade and put them together in this collection of postcards to colour. The designs, taken from the elephants, have been created by artists and celebrities, including Diane von Furstenberg and Leona Lewis. Money from each book sold goes to Elephant Parade® for elephant welfare and conservation projects worldwide.

Another postcard coloring book from Phoenix Yard Books is The One and Only Mini Mandala Colouring Book.  This book features 30 mandala designs.  It is smaller than regular size adult coloring books, and it is square in shape.  The other book, The One and Only Elephant Parade Postcard Colouring Book, is more rectangular in shape.
What sets these books apart from regular adult coloring books is that the designs can be colored, then taken out and mailed as postcards.  There's a design on one side, and a space for mailing address and stamp on the other.

The paper quality of both books is favorable for coloring pencils, pens, markers, and other utensils. I haven't had any bleed through from the mediums I've used. The paper thickness is thick, so you can color without tears and the pages can be mailed with minimal chance of damage in the mail. The pages are perforated so you can easily tear them out.

I have gotten much enjoyment out of coloring in these books. Some designs are more intricate than others, but they're all skillfully arranged.  I've colored a few of the designs and have sent them off in the mail to friends and family.  They seem to like the artfully decorated snail mail with kind sentiments. I definitely recommend these adult coloring books, as well as the others that are available, to purchase as gifts for the enthusiast or for yourself as a source of relaxation.
