Snicker Salad - Dessert Recipe

A couple of years ago a gal pal introduced me to Snicker Salad.  My taste buds thank her, and my thighs show their appreciation.

Snicker Salad is a simple dessert recipe that goes over quite well anytime I make it.  I've seen several variations for this recipe but this is how I tend to prepare the dessert.

apples and Snickers mixed in bowl together

Ingredients:

1 carton (12 ounces) Cool Whip, softened
1 package Cream Cheese, softened
3 large apples, chopped
4 Snickers candy bars, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Directions:

In a large bowl, whisk Cool Whip and cream cheese together.  Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in apples and candy bars. Refrigerate until serving.
