Book Synopsis:

These brief Bible stories allow parents to spend precious time with their little ones before bedtime, naps, or meals. With their to-the-point wording and calming artwork, the 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories is a great option for parents who look for ways to integrate the Bible into their busy schedules. This affordable 208-page book offers a lot of content for a great price, and the five-minute format will be a hit with parents and children alike. Short stories and gentle, colorful illustrations make this a great Bible and a quick story for little ones and parents before bedtime.

My Review:

It's usually during bedtime that parents read to their children.  The 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories is a perfect book to pick up every night and read.

As the title implies, 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories presents short tales of different stories of the Bible.  They're written in a way to keep kids engaged, and they're short enough to keep a child's attention.  This hardcover book has colorful and cute illustrations to help visualize the stories being told.

In addition to being a bedtime book, it could also be used to open doors on teaching little ones about the stories of Jesus' time.  After reading each quick tale, parents can supplement the learning by asking questions to their children or going to the Bible and elaborating further on what they just read.
Win It!

One person will win a hardcover book copy of 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories.

My favorite is Jesus! And I always remember the verse, But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Your treasures are not tangible, you can't take a u-haul to heaven.

I think my favorite is Ruth. I relate to her so much, once my MIL told me I was a 'Ruth' wife and, being that she is a Reverend, I looked it up and felt both honored and loved how well I related to her!

I love many stories in the bible. But most of all how Jesus took a loaf of bread and turned it into a whole lot of bread to feed a lot of people and how he turned water into wine! So amazing.
