bObsweep PetHair: An Innovative Way to Vacuum - Review

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
I own a brand name upright vacuum that I'd consider one of the best.  But the bObsweep PetHair, recently sent to my home for review, is now right up there at the top for cleaning gadgets.  Truth be told, this robotic vacuum cleaner and mop even has my husband excited!  He actually asks if he can "clean" the floors now.

Included with the bObsweep PetHair is the floor cleaner itself, a charging station, a charging adapter, remote control, flat head screwdriver, a cleaning tool, mop attachment, micro-fiber cloths, bumper stickers, and filter replacement.  And there's also an owner's manual and instruction guide.  I highly suggest that you read the guide and manual first before operating "Bob" for the first time.  There's a lot of information that will help with understanding how Bob works.

There are five buttons on top of the bObsweep PetHair that you use to start the cleaning, charge the gadget itself, turn the UV lamp on and off, choose the cleaning mode, and choose the cleaning program.

Before he is ready to clean, Bob must be fully charged.  One feature that I find fascinating is that Bob will return to his charging station each time after cleaning.  He'll even go there when the battery goes below a certain percentage.  You don't have to manually put Bob where he belongs.

Bob is equipped with three cleaning modes: Robot, Quick, Clean, and Touch Up.  One mode thoroughly cleans an area for 30 minutes, another does a quick clean for 30 minutes, and the last mode goes across a small area for 15 minutes.

If you choose not to manually push the buttons on the robotic cleaner itself, you can  use the remote control.  In other words, you have the option to push buttons on Bob himself or point the remote control at the gadget and make it work that way.  With the remote, you can guide Bob in the direction you want him to go.  If you think a certain area has been missed or needs cleaned over again, you can do just that.

Bob doesn't only vacuum; He also mops!  After installing the mopping attachment and damping the cloth with water, Bob can mop, sweep, and vacuum all at the same time.

The features get even better! You can set Bob on a cleaning schedule.  If you want him to clean at a certain time, you can set him to do just that.
Once in a while, it is necessary to empty the dustbin.  It's easy enough to slide in and out.  I'm super impressed with how much dirt and pet hair Bob picks up.    There are also filters inside the dustbin that capture particles and allergens.  Once in a while the filters will need replaced.

I actually get a kick out of watching Bob work.  He has his own patterns and ways.  What's neat is that Bob pays more attention to areas that are dirtier or more soiled.  I do have a couple of fringed area rugs that I take up before starting Bob to clean.  But, other than that, Bob finds his way around all furniture and all areas.

It took a short time to figure out all the features and functions of bObsweep PetHair but I'm fascinated with how well Bob works and all the things he can do.  My husband even shows him off to friends, almost like he's a new family addition!

I have to ask what your pets think about Bob. I can imagine mine either being terrified of him or pushing Bob down a flight of stairs to his death.

After a few weeks let me know if bob is still keeping up on his good work. I suggest taking him over to maybe your besties house or someone who has a ton of pets & dust....(or pet hair & dust) just to see how well he really works.
