Harry Potter: Winter at Hogwarts: A Magical Coloring Set - Review

I received products for review from Candlewick Press.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
The Harry Potter fandom is still going strong.  Whether you're a fan yourself or know someone who is fascinated with the wizarding world, you might want to check out the Harry Potter: Winter at Hogwarts: A Magical Coloring Set.  The set comes in a keepsake box that's made of sturdy cardboard.  Inside is a 48-page coloring booklet with scenes from the movies, a DIY 3-D Firebolt ornament, and 48 colorable gift tags.

My 22 yoa daughter is a big Harry Potter fan and has been from the beginning.  She thought this coloring set was quite novel.  The coloring book with Harry Potter scenes are printed double-sided.  Markers aren't recommended because of that, but other coloring utensils should work fine.  The paper the illustrations are printed on is of good quality.  The coloring book is not the normal size and rather is small and square.  The pages tear off easily at the top, so you can do what you want with a picture after coloring (like hang them on the walls like Shelby did).

The 3-D Firebolt comes with instructions on how to assemble it.  It's simple to put together and makes a cute little decorative piece.  It is said that the gift tags are colorable but we've found that it's best to just leave them as they are.  The detail is too small.  There are various designs on the tags with Harry Potter images, and there's a "To" and "From" portion on each one.  There's also thin red thread you can use to attach the tags to gifts.

This small gift set would make a decent gift for the Potter enthusiast.
