Valentine's Day is less than a month away. The usual gifts tend to revolve around candy, flowers, and stuffed animals. This year, why not get your loved one a gift that supports a cause.Let your true love show this Valentines Day by giving to those in need while simultaneously giving to your loved ones. With Bears for Humanity, a leading social commerce company, every organic plush animal purchased is matched and given to a child in need.
Bears For Humanity manufacturers a complete line of plush in the US using only 100% GOTS certified organic materials and Fair Trade practices, and are hand-made by at-risk women from welfare-work programs through CalWorks outside of San Francisco. When one purchases a bear or other plush animal, the company also donates another to a child in need. It's a win-win!
I received the 12" Brown Teddy Bear from the Baby Sherpas Collection, and think it's simply adorable. The bear is hand sewn in the USA, hypoallergenic, and made from 100% GOTS Certified organic cotton – there are no harmful plastics, chemicals, or dyes. There are no detachable pieces so it's safe for younger children. The eyes and nose are embroidered. The bear has a worn, rugged look. I have my teddy bear set on my entertainment center and think it's cute as can be.
Organic Stuffed Cat Animal Pal
If teddy bears aren't your thing, don't discount Bears for Humanity just yet. They also sell Animal Pals. There are fourteen different creatures to choose from, with some being a shark, dog, dinosaur, and elephant. The Animal Pals are made from the same organic materials as their teddy bear friends.
Win It!
One person will win a Brown Baby Sherpa Bear. (ARV $25)

We have a two year old and a newborn this year so Valentine's Day will probably consist of getting a pizza to go!
Since my birthday is a week before Valentines, we usually celebrate then instead. On Valentines, I usually do something special for the kids, like heart shaped pizza or cinnamon rolls.
I always like a rose on Valentine's Day the most of all of the great flowers available.
