Manor House Vintage Solid Oak Chest - Review

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

I'm not a furniture snob by any means, but I tend to purchase pieces that will hold up over time. I've bought cabinets, nightstands and other pieces that haven't lasted very long because they are made of mostly particle board and cheap fixtures.

UK-based Oak Furniture Land has sturdy, aesthetically pleasing furniture. Their furniture is 100% solid hardwood at decent prices. They offer free shipping and the furniture is already fully assembled. And there’s no limits on style, with 25 designs ranging from Rustic, French Farmhouse, Mid-century Modern, and more - all of which can furnish the entire home.

I received a pair of High Back Grass Chairs with Solid Mango Legs on which I've already posted a review.  They're still used in my kitchen and I love their unique look.  I also received the Manor House Vintage Solid Oak Chest, and it's a beautiful statement piece for my master bedroom.

Before the oak chest arrived, I made arrangements with the company on the best delivery date and time. On the day of, a large semi stopped by with a box. They even carried the box inside for me and offered to set the chest where I wanted it.  I declined but appreciated the gesture. After opening the box, I noticed that the oak chest was fully assembled and all I had to do was place it in my bedroom.

There was a small snafu in the beginning.  Upon inspection, I noticed one of the hinges on the inside of the oak chest was broken.  I emailed my contact person and arrangements were made to have it fixed.  A service person came to my home within a fair amount of time and fixed it for me.
Inside View (This was when one of the hinges was broken but it is now fixed and working fine.)

I owned a cedar chest and had it for several years.  It was still in great shape on the inside, but the outside showed wear and tear.  I substituted it with my new Manor House Vintage Solid Oak Chest.  The chest features classic tongue-and-groove panels, and is made from 100% solid hardwood.  The inside is very spacious and now contains sentiments, mementos, awards, letters, and apparel from the last forty years of my life.  The top of the cedar chest stays open on its own by the hinges when it's fully raised.
I've got a real nice chest!  (ba-da-boom)

But, seriously, the craftsmanship and quality of the Manor House Vintage Solid Oak Chest is exceptional.
