Wordful Wednesday - New Year's Eve

Chipmunk, the dog that's only good use is as a photo prop

And, just like that, 2016 is over!  I know it's cliche to say, but the year went by way too fast.  I haven't decided yet if I'm going to bore you with a "year in review" recap but 2016 definitely had its share of ups and downs.
hanging out with friend, Felicia

New Year's Eve I celebrated with close friends at their place.  They have an outbuilding that's a man cave dream.  We danced like we knew how, sang like we were Taylor Swift herself, and ate like we had no worries.  Then we crashed on their couch.  The next morning we ate some more and vegged out watching movies.  Good times, good times.

How did you celebrate New Year's Eve?

We were real quiet and stayed at home. We have spent many NYE nights out and about... we are of the age to stay at home now. I am glad you had a good time.

The dog Chipmunk is so cute! New Year's Eve was a lot of fun and we stayed home where it is warm and safe and watched movies and drank hot drinks and had nachos. Fun night!

That dog is so funny! I love the photos of you and Adam.

We had a dance party for kids at my house. Lots of lights, loud music and food. The kids were pretty good minus Isaak getting hit in the head with a stick, 2 sodas spilled (thankfully we have wood floors), and Mica's door getting shut hard (Travis just took it off its hinges).

That dog---I still can't decide if he makes me want to laugh or feel sorry for him or just buy him a set of doggie dentures...we were boring and were in bed by 10. Sounds like you had enough fun for everyone though! Good for you.

We do a quiet night with the girls and their friend playing board games. Then, drink sparkling cider to toast the New Year.
