I have a large screened-in back porch. A lot of times the kids in the family or from Small Group come over to play, and the back porch accommodates them. Because kids are always at the house, I keep toys and other items around that will keep them entertained. One thing that's been a big hit lately is the One Touch Tent.
This particular tent is also a big hit with me. It takes very little time and effort to set-up and take down. It's easy peasy!
green carrying bag that holds the tent for storage and transport
To set the tent up, all you've go tot do is take it out of the carry bag, unfold the tent, then lift it up and lock it in place. It takes under a minute for it to be ready for use. And it's just as simple to take down. You just lift up the center, fold the sides in, and put it back in the carrying bag.
Other features of the One Touch Tent is that it can withstand most wind and provides protection from harmful UV rays. There are small sand pouches on each corner that can be filled with sand for added stability.
This tent has a velcro opening on the front and a circular see-through spot that kids can look out of when the flap is lifted. Mesh top panels provide ventilation. Two kids can fit in it comfortably.
The material of the tent is mostly waterproof and protects from UV rays. The only downside I see to this tent is that that the polyester taffeta fabric is wrinkly and doesn't smooth out that well. The kids don't seem to mind, though. They've spent a lot of time in it reading, playing, and using their imagination. It definitely keeps them occupied.
