Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips - Review and Giveaway

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
March 14th was National Potato Chip Day.  Boulder Canyon, the leading better-for-you snack brand, celebrated with the launch of their new Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips.

The new kettle-cooked chips are cooked in 100 percent rice bran oil - the oil extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice after the tuff – feature three delicious flavors:

-          Roasted Jalapeno: The smoky heat of roasted jalapenos in these chips gives taste buds a savory burn.
-          Teriyaki Ginger: These chips pair zesty ginger and tangy teriyaki flavors to create the perfect Asian flavor.
-          Himalayan Pink Salt: Featuring the increasingly popular Himalayan Pink Salt and all its natural benefits, this chip is has just the right amount of flavor in each bit.

Boulder Canyon Rice Bran Oil chips are Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO and don’t contain any trans-fat, MSG or cholesterol.

Of the three new flavors from Boulder Canyon, I received Teriyaki Ginger.  Sometimes, when someone messes with a recipe or food product, it can come out tasting different than the original.  I have to say that the Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips tasted very much like any other potato chip.  Taste was not compromised.  They were delicious and had a good kettle crunch.  The Teriyaki Ginger chips have a sweet taste.  This is the first time I've had chips cooked in rice bran oil and, I have to admit, I like it.  Once I locate the other two flavors in stores, I'll be trying them.

Win It!

One person will win five free product coupons for Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips.
