It's National Jeep 4x4 Day

our newest Jeep project

National Jeep 4x4 Day is fairly new.  It wasn't officially declared a National Day until 2016.

If I can help it, I'm not going to let my husband know about today.  He'll swear that we need to get new parts for the Jeep project sitting in our garage.  Jason is a boy who likes his toys, and Jeeps have been a big part of our bumpkin life for several years.

We don't drive Jeeps for business; It's all for pleasure.  Ours always end up with broken parts after we've drug them through the dirt and mud.  Fun times, fun times!

Hubby running over a vacuum (It's a long story why!)

Do you own a jeep?
Have you ever been muddin'?

If that is a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner, no explanation is needed. I own a canister version of that brand and it sucks..no, wait, unfortunately it doesn't suck...we used to own a jacked up Jeep Wrangler soft top but sold it when we got "responsible" and had kids and needed something safer that we didn't have to use a ladder to climb in to. We miss it!

Never had a jeep, never went mudding in my truck. Why do I feel like I missed something?

We love our Jeep. We have a two door Wrangler that we take rock crawling. We also tow a little pop up camper behind it for camping. Our dog loves it, too! For the big 4x4 trips to places like Colorado, my husband usually goes with his brother. I'd rather drive over a vacuum than drive up a granite cliff.
