Keep Kids Busy with Puffy Paint - Craft

squeezing Puffy Paint out of the bag and onto the paper

I'd love to take complete credit for this craft but my bestie might disown me if I did.

I was hanging out at her house the other day and she concocted some Puffy Paint.  I was intrigued by how simple it was to make and how cool it looked on paper.  So, if you're looking for a fun and easy craft to do with the kids, here's your recipe for Puffy Paint:

Use the kind on the left, not the kind on the right

What You'll Need:

Shave Foam
Food Coloring
Elmer's School Glue
Ziploc Bags

Directions:

Mix equal amounts of shaving cream and white glue until you have the texture you want.

Add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture. (It took about 10 drops of food coloring for each color being used).

Put each color separately into Ziploc bags.  Cut a tip on each end of the bags.

Create cool pictures.

The Puffy Paint comes out of the end of the Ziploc bag that you've cut.  Squeeze the bag like you're icing a cake.

The Puffy paint creates puffed dimensions to the pictures, and has a spongy feel.

It's easy peasy and keeps kids entertained while you do housework binge watch Netflix.

I am equally amazed and terrified by this craft you have posted. Part of me says "oh wow that looks cool" and the other part of me says "when my 4 year old gets that on the ceiling is it still going to look cool???"
