My Review:
If you are in the mood for a family-friendly film featuring 2D animated animals who are into music, then Rock Dog is for you! It tells of a dog named Bodi who lives his life guarding his mountain home, where music is prohibited. Then, one day, a radio falls from the sky and Bodi decides he wants to follow his dreams of becoming a musician. He leaves his home for the big city and locates a cat who is a legend. Angus, the cat, has no desire to help Bodi. But, after some persuasion, the pair go in pursuit of making Bodi's dreams come true. During this, Bodi still has to deal with trouble at home.
The whole gist of the film is "follow your dreams" and "be who you want to be". The plot is predictable but I like the overall acting and theme of the movie. You can't go wrong with animals who know what they want out of life. There are both funny and heartfelt moments. I found myself belting out the lyrics to "Glorious", the last song in the movie, for several minutes after the film was over.
Win It!
One person will win Rock Dog Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack.
