Stinger 3-in-1 Insect Zapper - Review

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Did  you know that May is National Barbecue Month?  Well, you do now!

We love to barbecue, and my husband will do it all year round.  But, there's almost nothing worse than swatting at pesky bugs when you're trying to eat or entertain outdoors.  With the Stinger 3-in-1 Insect Zapper, you can keep the pests away without the stick and stink of bug spray.

From small patios to entire backyards, the 3-in-1 Insect Zapper provides whole yard coverage and uses black UV light technology to kill up to 40% more mosquitoes and flying insects.  It's made from weather-proof plastic and is equipped with a sundown sensor option for energy efficient operation that automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn.  No assembly is required.

This bug zapper has three operating modes.  One is the 24 Hour Mode that keeps the zapper on 24 hours a day.  The Dawn to Dusk mode turns the unit on automatically at dusk and turns it off in the morning.  The Mosquito Kill Mode activates interval light cycling.  In other words, it changes the light patterns at different intervals to attract biting insects in close proximity.

A NOsquito octenol lure by Stinger is included with the unit.  The lure has slow release properties and increases the effectiveness of attacting insects to the unit.  The lure needs to be replaced every 30 days.  The lure is an optional piece and is not necessary for the zapper to operate.  It enhances the unit.

It is best to plug the Insect Zapper into an extension cord outside, about 25' from human activity.  Ours is hanging from a shepherd's hook in the back yard.  There will be some continuous humming from the unit, and that is completely normal.  The outer enclosure is made in a way that little hands and pets won't get their fingers or paws zapped.
I have to admit, I'm fascinated by the 3-in-1 Insect Zapper both for its benefits and for its entertainment value.  It emits a pretty light at night and you can hear when the bugs are being zapped.  Yes, I'm one of those who gets a kick out of hearing the insects meet their demise.

So far, the weather hasn't caused much of an influx of insects.  But the Stinger 3-in-1 Insect Zapper has proven effective in getting rid of the majority of bugs that are in the area so far.  I will continue to use this zapper throughout the summer and fall seasons, especially when the mosquitoes start making themselves known.

Don't let your barbecue or summer activities get ruined by pesky bugs.  Take care of the problem with the Stinger 3-in-1 Insect Zapper.

My family loves grilling during the spring & summer months. Nothing is worse than those pesky mosquitoes and flies. This 3-in-1 bug zapper looks like a winner, and I will let my brothers know so they can see about getting one for the back yard. Thanks for sharing!
