WoodSnap - Wood Photo Prints Review and Giveaway

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
I have pictures and prints all throughout my house but didn't have any of my cat, Misty, displayed.  No wonder she was mad at me all the time!  That problem was solved with WoodSnap, a company that prints photos on wood.

WoodSnap uses a specialized process with your photos and prints them directly on premium baltic birch wood.  Since the company doesn't print any white ink, any lighter areas in your photos will allow the wood grain to show through giving it a natural, organic, and very unique look. The photo you submit will not be an exact replication. The distinct character, blemishes and wood grain of each canvas will meld with your photo creating a one-of-a-kind print.

WoodSnap has several sizes and patterns available for your photo print.  I received a 5" x 7" Wood Print for review and sent in a photo of my kitty.  The ordering process is simple.   You pick the size and shape of print you want, then upload a photo.  The company will then get to work turning your picture into a beautiful wood piece.

To say that I'm pleased with the finished product is an  understatement.  The picture of Misty looks good against the wood grain and I love the uniqueness of it, with some of the wood grain showing through.  Some of the wood prints include a free desktop wood stand to set the print on.  The stand matches the wood grain of the print.  The quality of the wood is visible, and you can see that it's top-notch.  My photo print is proudly displayed on a bookshelf in my living room.

Although I didn't choose to use them, WoodSnap sends free screws and plastic anchors to hang prints on walls.  There are grooves on the back of the wood prints that the screws slide into if you choose to hang your picture.

Each of WoodSnap's wood photo prints are heat and water-resistant but they should not be hung or set in front of direct sunlight.  For those who support companies that give back, WoodSnap is teamed up with American Forests, and the company plants a tree for every wood print purchased.

Win It!

One person will win a 5x7 wood photo print from WoodSnap.

My friend took a picture of our daughter, my husband and myself on Easter. We were all dressed up and somehow we were all smiling and looking at the camera. This is such a rare occurrence and I've been looking for something special to do with it. This would be perfect!
