It's National All American Pet Photo Day - #AllAmericanPetPhotoDay

Trader Jimmy hanging with Jason

Charge your camera and take pics of your pets.  Today is dedicated to showing them off in photos.

Adam feeding Helen something from a fruit pouch

Helen is our one and only dog.  She's a 3 year old Labrabull (Lab/Pit mix).  With the exception that she begs for people's attention as soon as they come in the door, she's a pretty good dog.  Regardless of what time I sleep during the day or if I'm taking a nap, Helen is right by my side.  If I'm asleep, you can guarantee she'll be laying right next to me.

The cats have complete control over this chair.

Our gray cat, Misty, is prissy.  She hates the camera and could care less about getting her picture taken.  She's 2 years old and probably my favorite of the three (don't tell the others!)  I think it's because she has such soft, pettable fur and she doesn't want or require a lot of attention.  Ten or twenty minutes a day of attention is all she needs, and she's good to go.
Trader Jimmy getting some lovin' from Logan

Trader Jimmy is our newest pet.  A good friend of ours recently moved and needed to find a home for him.  I offered up ours.

Trader Jimmy is one year old and the most lovable cat you'll ever meet.  He's not needy but he will let you love on him anytime.

Adam has Helen super spoiled.

As you can tell from the pics, our pets have run of the house.  They sleep with us and hang out on the furniture.  I know some people aren't up for that thing but I figure it's what vacuums are good for.  Besides, they're part of the family too!

Do you have any pets?  If so, tell me about them.

Your pets are beautiful! Trader Jimmy looks like a big cuddle bug. We have three cats, two elderly gentlemen and one young, fat, orange Garfield-type fella. I love them, even though they shed so much my hardwood floor almost looks carpeted :)

I take care of my son's dog once in a while. He lived with us for about a year. He is Major and is a Mastiff.
