Movie Overview:
A new baby's arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator -- a wildly imaginative 7-year-old named Tim. The most unusual Boss Baby (Alec Baldwin) arrives at Tim's home in a taxi, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. The instant sibling rivalry must soon be put aside when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is actually a spy on a secret mission, and only he can help thwart a dastardly plot that involves an epic battle between puppies and babies.
Boss Baby was released to DVD and Blu-ray July 25, 2017.
My Review:
I watched Boss Baby with my teenage kids and thought it was interesting enough. I'm not sure I'd see it again, but it was a good enough movie to watch once. Some of the humor was ludicrous at times, while we belly laughed during other times.
The movie starts out with Tim, a child who is not happy to hear another baby is on the way. When the baby does arrive, Tim imagines (realistically, to him) that the baby is wearing a business suit and has a crude wit about him. Tim and the baby join forces to stop a conspiracy. In the end, the siblings bond and decide they can live with, and even love, each other.
Have you seen Boss Baby? What's your opinion of the film?
