Christmas Eve was spent with family at my sister's home. She's hosted for the holiday for many years. There were about 25 people who came to celebrate. Before doing anything else, we ate and ate and ate. The food....there was so much of it.
My niece and her man are always coming up with creative food dishes. I'm a little jealous.
After determining no one was going into a food coma, we opened gifts. Because we are such a large family, each person draws one name during Thanksgiving and purchases a gift for them. I received three pair of leggings and salted caramel K-cup coffee from my niece.

Milling around and chit-chatting was the past time for a while, before some of us decided to break out a game of Farkle. I can't seem to wrap my mind around that game. As my nephew says, "Farkle is for those who can't figure out Yahtzee". Needless to say, I lost.

Have you ever played Farkle?
