Random Tuesday Thoughts - Couches and Shampoo

You know the drill by now.  Link up all your randomness at Stacy Uncorked.

Thanksgiving morning, Logan participated in the local Turkey Run.  It's a 5k for those people who are motivated enough to get up at the butt crack of dawn and run in the cold.  Logan's motivation paid off.  He placed 5th overall, out of over 500 runners.  That's my boy!
Jason and I purchased a new (to us) couch at the Salvation Army thrift store.  #DontJudge
After we paid for it and a few other smaller items, the gal at the register asked one of the workers to help carry the couch out.  He threw a tantrum and insisted that he couldn't help because he needed to be in the back area working after 5:30 pm.  No exceptions!

The gal gave him the side-eye and apologized to us.  She'd never heard of such a thing.  And, not to mention, it was only 5:15 pm.  After she gave him a "motivational speech" the guy helped carry the couch to the truck.

I wasn't gonna throw a fit or make a big deal of it, but they almost got to keep their couch.  And almost lost business.

If I wear socks for too long, moisture gets trapped inside and my feet start to itch like the dickens.  The other morning I was going full speed on the crazy train, hunting everywhere for a lotion, gel, or pill to stop the madness.  In a fit of desperation, I grabbed the dog's anti-itch shampoo and slathered  it on my feet.  Guys, it WORKED!  The relief was almost instant.  Say what you will, but that shampoo is now my go-to.
I didn't do a whole lot of shopping on Cyber Monday.  I did manage to purchase a few faith-based tshirts from Kerusso at amazing prices.  It's my plan to finish Christmas shopping by the beginning of next week.
What's your randomness for the week?
Are you finished with Christmas shopping?

Wow! I'll have to try that. I get itching feet too in the cooler months and it drives me nuts. My pup also has anti-itch shampoo for his fur. I will remember this for next time!

I'm assuming the brat guy was mid-20's or younger? Seems like a lot of kids nowadays have absolutely no respect. Granted I'm only 34, however we were taught if someone asks you to do something (especially help with something and no matter what it was when at work), you do it with a good attitude.
