My Review:

I admit that I'm still somewhat of a novice when it comes to God's Word.  I appreciate when there are resources, footnotes, tips and hints contained within a Bible that help open my eyes and discover the messages.  The ICB Prayer Bible is an amazing manual outfitted for older children, but I think it's perfect for an adult as well.

The cover of the Bible is very pretty, with blue and gold colors.  There's a blue ribbon bookmark to keep place of the page you're reading.  And, there's a lot of information contained within the Bible to help readers with their walk with God.

There's several pages of prayers.  For instance, there's a prayer for Words to Pray, a prayer for Closeness to God, and a Prayer Based on Psalm 139.

There's also Kids Q & A sections.  Some of the questions answered are:

Can I pray bad things for my enemies?

Why should I pray for the president and government leaders?

Why doesn't God just forgive all of our sins at once?

If that wasn't enough, there's also Prayer Pointers.  One of them is:  Let's keep our eyes open, watching for Jesus' return and praying that we will all be ready for the day He comes.

The back of the Bible is filled with Memory Verses for my Life and pages with lines to jot down prayer requests.  A prayer journal is also included, to write down prayers.

This is a beautiful Bible that contains so much information.  Children will be able to read the Bible without it being taken out of context, but will also get to interact and think and meditate with the additional materials.
