Grom Social and MamaBear: Social Media Site and App for Children

I am pleased to bring to your attention a social media website for children (by children – and supervised by professional adults for safety and security) called Grom Social.  It was actually started by then-12-year-old Zach Marks (now 17) and its grown to include over 17 million registered members.  Importantly, Grom Social launched version 2.0 of its incredible mobile app called MamaBear. The app combines cutting-edge parent-child communications with online monitoring and travel tracking functionalities and the newly-released MamaBear version 2.0 updates all of the app’s real-time functionalities, further enhancing the user experience for parents and children alike.

Available on iTunes and Google Play, MamaBear delivers powerful safety and awareness tools including social media monitoring, family mapping, reputation management as well as alerts to cyber threats towards their children.  MamaBear also offers a private platform allowing families to communicate and keep abreast of family activities such as kids’ team sports and school events.

 More about MamaBear:

Grom Social Enterprises is making MamaBear version 2.0 available in four distinct levels, including an advertiser-supported free version, a one-month trial version, a three-month plan and a six-month plan.
