Untamed T-Rex - #FerociousFriday Toy Review

WowWee is launching a new toy today, the Untamed T-Rex -- an interactive dino that reacts to touch, motion and sound. The popular Untamed Raptors launched earlier this year, and T-Rex is the new member of the Untamed ferocious family.

These finger-gripping "King of the Dinos" creatures are fierce and unpredictable, and know friends vs. foes.  In Untamed mode, they roar, hiss and chomp.  In Tame mode they nuzzle, purr and love to be near you. Complete with snapping jaws and gripping claws, these interactive dinos react to touch, motion, and sound with over 40 different sounds and animations. There are 4 different T-Rexes to tame and collect.

Similar to other popular Fingerlings, the Untamed T-Rex joins the line of interactive toys.  The four T-Rexes available for purchase are Ripsaw, Scratch, Ironjaw, and Tracker.  Ripsaw is the one that roared its way into our home.

There are instructions included on how to interact with the Untamed T-Rex.  By clapping and tapping and turning the dinosaur upside down or sideways, your child will receive different motions and reactions.  Although your finger is the most obvious choice to let an Untamed T-Rex hang out, he will also grasp onto writing utensils, straws, and other objects.  There's an on/off switch located on the back, and he will go into sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity.

There are two modes of play - Tame and Untame.  In tame mode, the dino will sneeze, sleep, and make cute sounds.  In Untame mode, T-Rex shows its wild side.  He'll roar and chomp his mouth.  He may even fart!

Most kids like dinosaurs and I know a lot are fans of Fingerlings.  With the combination of the two, I can see the Untamed T-Rex being a big hit!

I received product for review from WowWee.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Aw, these are too cute. I know my older niece and nephew had monkey fingerlings but I could see them really enjoying the dinosaur version.
