Jennie-O Oven Ready Whole Turkey - #JennieO #SwitchCircle Review

Holidays aren't the only time to enjoy delicious turkey.  JENNIE-O Turkey has been a recognized leader in the turkey industry for many years.  From the main course to your favorite snacks, find all your favorite JENNIE-O® Turkey products at the deli counter or in the grab-and-go sections.

It is possible to have a delicious turkey that turns out great every time for a simple, rewarding, and stress-free cooking experience with an OVEN READY™ Whole Turkey from JENNIE-O.

Straight from the freezer and into the oven with no thawing required - That's where OVEN READY™ turkey gets its name.  The Oven Ready Whole Turkey comes with a gravy packet.

To cook the turkey, preheat oven to 375°F. Remove frozen turkey from white outer package. Do not remove turkey from cooking bag. Place in a roasting pan with at least 2" high sides.  Cut six 1/2 inch slits in top of cooking bag. Pull bag up and away from bird, to release vacuum. Place pan in oven, allowing room for bag to expand without touching the oven racks or walls. Roast the turkey until a meat thermometer reaches 165°F. in the breast and 180°F. in the thigh.  It took approximately three hours for the turkey to completely cook through.  When turkey is cooked, heat gravy as directed on pouch.

Once finished, I cut up the turkey into slices and drizzled it with the gravy.  The turkey was very moist and tender, and the flavors complemented the other food.  Just because you don't spend a lot of labor in the kitchen doesn't mean you can't cook up a delicious turkey!  Try one today.

I usually only make a turkey on Thanksgiving because it is so much work but I will have to try this as my son loves turkey and always wants me to make it.

I would definitely cook turkey more often if it's easier to prepare.
