My Review:

Moms tend to place a lot of high expectations on themselves, and even other moms.  But, let's face it, parenting doesn't fit one mold, and parenting isn't always a walk in the park.  Author Debora M. Coty has written a pocket book that brings a lighthearted approach to being a mom.  I love Debora's style of writing and how she guides moms in a way that isn't overly serious.  I read through this book once, then caught myself reading parts of it over again.

With Bible scripture, witty stories, quotes, and points of discussion, Too Blessed to be Stressed for Moms is a "mom" book that I can relate to.  I was made to think, relate, analyze, and laugh out loud when reading this book.  Even though the book is written with a buoyant tone, it does make you stop and think.  The "Navigating the Hood" section at the end of each chapter implores readers to answer questions that relate to their life, and maybe even find ways to change what they're doing.  There's even a pink ribbon bookmark to mark your page.  The only part I didn't like about this book is when the author refers to God as "Papa God".  That's only because I prefer to use more reverence when addressing my Heavenly Father.  Other than that, I definitely recommend this book to all moms.

I received book for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

I have been running kids all over the place this week. My closest thing to a mom adventure was running to the grocery store alone! Lol

Mica's been limping, since the 29th. We didn't really want to take him out of school. I signed all the paperwork for an in school clinic. Then I told him to go to the nurse's office, to ask to go to the clinic. We found out he has shin splints, which I predicted. Now I've been after him to do his stretches a lot! He's also iced it.

My mom adventure is worrying about my college student who has glass in her foot and couldn't get it out. She went to a walk-in clinic. Do we ever stop worrying about our kids???!!

I cooked two really adventurous (for me) meals and went to two fall festivals in the blazing 90 plus degree temps this weekend. I deserve a medal.
