It's been quite a while since I've spent the night at Whispering Oaks Campground. It was me and Jason's stomping grounds for several years but we gave it up. I love all things Halloween, though, and couldn't resist the opportunity to take part in their haunted trail on Saturday.
Me doing my part
My sister organized the event and did most of the props. I dressed up but didn't set out to scare anyone. I was more of a "socializer". I did take a ride through the grounds once to see what the haunted trail was all about. It could've used a few more scares but wasn't bad overall.
some family who braved the trail on the hay rack tractor ride
Can you guess which one of these is my sister?
(hint: it's the crazy one)
