Sometimes I'll get a gander at making a recipe I've come across on Facebook. One popped up for Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad, and I knew right then and there that's what I was making as my contribution for a dinner. Since then, I've made it several times.
Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1 head broccoli, chopped
1 head cauliflower, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1⁄2 cup sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 lb bacon, fried & crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
chopped broccoli and cauliflower
remaining ingredients to add
Directions:
Combine chopped broccoli and cauliflower in large bowl.
In a separate bowl combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar and salt to make a dressing.
Add the dressing to the broccoli/cauliflower mix, stirring to evenly coat the veggies.
Stir in the bacon and cheese, reserving a small amount to sprinkle on top of salad just before serving.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I want to try this. I am always looking for more ways to use vegetables. Thank you for the recipe.
I might substitute something else for the cauliflower. I'm not a fan of cauliflower, lol. But I love broccoli, so this sounds amazing.
This sounds tasty! Broccoli and Cauliflower are some of my favorite vegetables!
