April 1st marked the start of camping season at Woodyz Acres. Jason and I spent Friday and Saturday night there. We had a great time and are excited for upcoming stays.
Friday evening was spent putting final touches on the camper and getting everything set up. Then we hung around the campfire with friends.

Russ blindfolded and ready for the adult hunt
Adults like to play too
Allyson and Russ came over with the grandson on Saturday. I had lots of cuddle time with him. The campground hosted an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and even one for the adults! The adults were paired up as couples. One was blindfolded and had to crawl around to find the eggs while their partner gave verbal instructions on where the eggs were. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time.
Bristol and Lola playing with each other
Jason cooked four racks of ribs on the smoker Saturday night, and worked on making our golf cart look presentable.
First weekend of camping season was a blast! Looking forward to many more.

Little Henry is sooo cute! Your first weekend of camping looked amazing. I love the adult egg hunt idea! Your camper looks great. Now I want some s'mores!
How fun! I saw on the news that camping grounds have nearly doubled in price because of the pandemic, and people not wanting to stay in hotels.
The adult egg hunt sounds hilarious!
Henry is a doll!
My favorite superhero is Captain America!
I don't know where you are located but around here it is still to cold. Our evening/night temps are in the 30"s. But as soon as it starts to get warmer my niece and her family will be out camping at least twice a month. They pack their buggy up and head down the back roads to meet friends.
Camping is a lot of fun. I have many fond childhood memories from camping with my grandparents and aunt/uncle/cousins.
Forgot to say I was diggin' your door! Very nice.
