The Big Popper - Review & Giveaway

Many years ago my brother and I went on a trip with my aunt to Branson, Missouri. I remember the wonderful time we had watching the many shows and browsing the gift shops. The shops there were filled with unique items and delicious treats that couldn't be found just anywhere. It is my hope that someday I will be able to take my kids to Branson to experience the wonders it beholds.

Once place that millions of Branson visitors have been to is The Big Popper, a gourmet popcorn store. Too bad I didn't get the pleasure of visiting The Big Popper when I vacationed in Branson. If you are unable to stop by their store, you can order their gourmet popcorn online. They offer the traditional flavors of popcorn such as caramel and cheddar, but they also have numerous other flavor options available.


The flavor options available are:

• caramel


• yellow cheddar


• white cheddar


• kettle corn


• almond pecan


• cashew caramel


• caramel/cheese mix


• chocolate drizzle


• jalapeno


• cinnamon


• buttered

My whole family loves popcorn and we can devour it like no other. But when I received my tin of popcorn, I chose not to share with the family. I wanted to see what my fellow cohorts thought of it and get their opinions, so I took it to work. I set it out on the counter and advised that they could share with me in trying the caramel, buttered, and yellow cheddar popcorn. Some people knew that I brought it in for review purposes and others had no idea.

I know that snacks and goodies go over well where I work, but I didn't think the entire tin would be gone in just three days. The yellow cheddar popcorn seemed to be the most popular, but the other flavors didn't take long to disappear. One co-worker commented that it was the best popcorn from a tin that she had ever tasted. Another laughingly stated that we needed another tin for review purposes because they just weren't sure. As it was, they just wanted more of the popcorn. Another summed it up in one word, "Awesome!" As for me, I have to go with the general concensus of the others that the popcorn was fresh and tasted great.

There are different designs of tins that you can purchase your popcorn in. If none of the designs suit you, there is the option to create your own design. I received my popcorn in the Big Popper Gold design. There are labels on it with the 'The Big Popper' logo, but they are easily removable. Once empty, the tin is reusable and can be used to store other items in.
