GIELLA - Cosmetics Review & Giveaway

I've bought a lot of cosmetics in my day, but had no idea that I had the option to custom blend my makeup to get the exact results I want. Usually when I buy makeup, especially eye shadow, I will blend different colors together to get the achieved look. GIELLA aids in creating customized palettes based on personal traits.

I was able to custom blend some cosmetics from GIELLA, as well as try products tailored towards my needs. Their products tend to be on the higher price range, but you are able to get cosmetics with the mixers, components, coverage, and scents YOU want.



The lip pencils are matte and moist and can be worn alone or under lipstick. I have worn my lip pencil alone as I do not like to wear multiple products on my lips. It stayed on for a long time and did not easily smudge.



I was able to custom blend powder blush to my specifications. How great it was to get exactly what I wanted! I chose the CPJB16 powder blush with Vitamin E, medium coverage, and pink shimmer. All of the mineral powder cheek colors contain minerals that reflect light and apply easily. The blush blends well with my skin and I've even used it with a brush to apply all-over facial coverage for a hint of shimmer.


I received the R. Wine pressed eye shadow and I find that it compliments me well. The color is absolutely beautiful and I have no need to blend it with another color.
I have mixed feelings about the GJR53 cream eye liner. I am really fond of the color and how it makes my eyes stand out. Once dry, the eye liner is smudge-prooof and crease-proof. What makes me have mixed feelings is that it is somewhat hard to apply. There has been times that I've applied the eye liner only to be frustrated that it has smeared before drying and it takes precision to apply it correctly. I am getting better at it with time.

Before trying the Cuticle Oil, my cuticles were in fairly poor shape. I have been using the cuticle oil and have noticed a positive difference. It is a portable twist pen that nourishes and softens cuticles. It is made from avocado, kukui, grapeseed and/or tea tree oil. My cuticles take a beating with the rest of my skin during the cold weather. With the cuticle oil, they are not nearly as dry as they once were.

All lip glosses can be custom blended and come in an extensive range of colors and scents. I have the LGW62 custom lip gloss and I like how it makes my lips shine and does not feel gooey or sticky.
The Organic Body Wash can even be mixed to get exactly what you want. Avocado Oil and Almond Oil are just a couple of the mixers that can be added to the body wash. Lemon, chocolate, and violet are a few of the scents that you can choose. The body wash contains a natural liquid soap base. Both my husband and I have used the body wash. It has the right amount of scent and lathers up well. I make sure to shake it up before use each time to fully mix the ingredients.
