Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back - DVD Review

The Chimps are coming to your home in the action-packed adventure Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back , released on DVD October 5th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Vanguard Animation (the same studio that brought you Space Chimps). Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back is a fun-filled adventure for the whole family that is chock full of surprises in this out-of-this world all-new DVD.

The film follows Comet, who is usually left at mission control, but longs to venture into space like his chimp-colleagues. Comet gets the chance to travel to Planet Malgor where he meets Kilowatt, the once shy alien, and lives out his ultimate fantasy of exploring outer space. However, when the feared alien ruler Zartog takes over Mission Control, Comet must prove that he is brave enough to take him on. Challenged to show that he has the right skills, Comet must join fellow chimps Ham, Luna and Titan to save the day.

My Review:
One good thing about having kids is that you have an excuse to watch kids' movies yourself. I watched Space Chimps when it was released and was excited to review the second movie that just released. That's because I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. It was a good family film for everyone to see, with some humorous undertones that may zoom right on over kids' heads but make adults chuckle. The same can be said for Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back. You know it's a good movie when eight people - kids and adults, boys and girls - all agreed that it was just as good as the first one. Of course I recommend that you watch the first one if you haven't yet but you can watch this one as well without getting lost in the plot.

Blast Off to Space Camp with Space Chimps 2 Sweepstakes:
