DVD Synopsis:

Her playful antics keep everyone in her family on their toes, including her older sister Beezus (Gomez), who's just trying to survive her first year of high school. Through all the ups and downs of childhood, Ramona and Beezus learn that anything's possible when you believe in yourself and rely on each other.

My Review:
I'll let the cat out of the bag; I watch Wizards of Waverly Place with my kids. It's one of their favorite shows and I'll sometimes sit down and watch it with them. When I found out that Ramona and Beezus cast Selena Gomez (a main character in Wizards of Waverly Place) as one of the stars, I was inspired to watch it.

Selena Gomez, who plays big sister Beezus, used her accomplished acting skills in the movie quite well. In fact, all of the actors in the movie played their roles with premium execution.

Joey King, a newcomer who plays Ramona, seems to have the worst happen to her. With her daydreaming capabilities and vivid imagaination, she is able to get through the mishaps. Ramona's view of the world is captured with extraordinary special effects and she confirms the feeling that it's okay to be different.

There are scenes that will make you laugh and some where you'll shed tears. This is a heartfelt, fun, and appealing movie that the whole family can enjoy.
