A few months ago a gal pal from my small group brought homemade Alfredo sauce to a gathering. I committed gluttony. I ate so much I made myself ill.
It was absolutely the best Alfredo sauce I'd ever consumed. She was kind enough to share her recipe with me and I immediately went to the store to get the ingredients. I made up a batch yesterday and, again, I committed gluttony.
I can't believe how such a simple recipe can create such an awesome sauce. And, with that, here is the recipe:
Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
1 Stick Salted Butter
15 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream
2 cups Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet on med-low heat. Add heavy whipping cream until heated thoroughly. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Stir in garlic, and add salt and pepper as needed.
Pour over noodles, chicken, or veggies. Scarf down until you've hit the fine line between being miserable and wanting just one more bite.

Oh wow, my husband loves Alfredo sauce so I'll have to give your recipe a try. Thanks for sharing it... :)
This is how we make ours too. I haven't bought store bought in years. Homemade is soooo much better!
(Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce Recipe) This looks and sounds easy enough for me to try out sometime. I love a good alfredo sauce.
I do love Alfredo sauce and I would use this over vegetables as well as pasta! delicious!

This looks like a great comfort food, over pasta with crusty bread and a salad.
