Our family celebrates a lot of birthdays which, in turn, means I purchase a lot of presents and cards. Recently sent to me were the Fredericks & Mae Animal Mask Notecards, which are now my go-to when attaching cards to a younger child's gift.
I know that most people tend to think of masks for Halloween and other events but if you stop and think about it, kids love to use their imagination by wearing masks any time of year.
The Fredericks & Mae Animal Mask Notecards are nicely packaged in a sturdy box. There area a total of 12 full-color notecards (6 die-cut designs, repeating 2 times) and 12 envelopes. Also included is a pamphlet on the history and information pertaining to different masks.
There's more to these notecards than meets the eye. Each card features a die-cut shape that transforms it into a striking animal mask. Whether a fashion statement, wall decoration, party gift, or clever note to a friend, expect these cards to make a strong impression.
I recently attended a couple child birthday parties and used these animal mask notecards as the birthday card. I wrote a birthday message on the back of the mask, then sealed each mask up in the included envelope. The children liked that they could be creative with their birthday card and wear an animal mask during their party.
The masks themselves are made with a strong paper material; they are not flimsy. There are hole punches on each side of the mask for a piece of string or elastic to be threaded through. Be informed that the string or elastic is not provided. The designs are eye-catching and the masks are amusing to wear.
