My Review:
I think the Bible is the best book in existence but even I know that it can be hard to read at times. I need references and footnotes to help me understand and study. I like knowing the "where, why, and how" of things.
A Bible that can help someone better comprehend is more likely to be read. I believe the NKJV Study Bible for Kids is written for someone who wants to know more about the verses and history. And, although it is a Bible geared towards the younger crowd, I've found it to be quite to my liking.
The NKJV Study Bible for Kids has colorful background graphics and a blue ribbon bookmark. Inside its pages are the scriptures and stories of the Bible. None of that is changed.
But what makes it more interesting to read is that it includes so many features for better understanding and application. For instance, the Epic Ideas box that's found on several pages are key articles that give information about must-know topics, and important themes to live the Christian life. There's also maps, timelines, and biographies of locations, people, and events. The many features contained within this Bible are both helpful and interesting.
Win It!
One person will win a NKJV Study Bible for Kids.

I have so many favorite Bible stories. I guess one that really gets me thru in hard times is Daniel in the Lyons Den. He had faith and kept praying to god when he was told he could only worship to the king. He prayed with his window open and didn't try to hide his faith.
I haven't read the bible but I have had a growing interested in learning more hence I loved this giveaway and wanted to enter.

I like reading Proverbs the most. My favorite Bible story about Jesus is sea of Galilee...especially for kids. I think it is just such an easy story to engage with them and speak to them about.
Josiah is my favorite person in the bible. I loved his story as a child and I even named my son Josiah. His story reminds me of modern times. Everyone seems to be losing faith and sight of God. We need a Josiah to come along to bring us back to the word of God.
