Random Tuesday Thoughts - Track Season and Handmade Gifts

It's Tuesday, and you know what that means.  Yep, another edition of Random Tuesday Thoughts.  Play along if you'd like, at Stacy Uncorked.

Adam, bless his sweet soul, crafted me a wooden coffee table for Mother's Day.  It was a few days late but definitely worth it.  He worked several weeks at school putting together the table for me.  I'm actually quite impressed, especially considering it's his first woodwork piece.  It's very large and very sturdy.  I rearranged my living room to accommodate the new piece of furniture.
My husband passed his icky sicky germs to me earlier this week.  I've been a miserable mess of congestion.
Logan ran at sectionals Wednesday night.  He placed 2nd in the 800 meter relay.  He's going to state!
Thursday will be the big day.
Digestic by mimonis
I did a review for Digestic in early April.  It's herbal supplements that come in pill form and they are formulated to help with the digestive system.  They are pricey so I went back and forth with whether I wanted to order some when I ran out of my free samples.
I took the plunge.  The pills are the best I've come across so far.  I'm not nearly as bloated and I'm much more regular.  I don't know if I can afford to keep purchasing a bottle every month, but it's almost worth it if they keep me from hating my insides.

My daughter recently accused me of having an obsession with fake greenery.  Unfortunately, I proved her theory right when I purchased two more greenery pieces at a yard sale the other day.
I can't keep the real things alive to save my soul, but I like the look of plants and trees around the house.  Could have a worse obsession, I suppose.  And, besides, you can't beat $4 for two large fake plants.  At least that's what I told myself to explain away bringing in more home décor.
How has your week been?  What kind of randomness you got going on?

Good luck at state! We just wrapped up our track season and had awards tonight.

Got the icky sickies myself and it's been a crummy two weeks around here :(
