GAME's Bluetooth Speaker and Underwater Light Show - Review

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
Over the last few years I've had the opportunity to review my fair share of products.  Most of the time, I'm pleased with what I come across.  There are some things, however, that really hit the "Wow" factor for me.  GAME's Bluetooth Speaker and Underwater Light Show is one of those.  It's made summer in the pool and outside so much more fun.
hooked up to the computer to charge
New for 2016, this waterproof speaker system is completely wireless and uses Bluetooth 3.0 to instantly pair with your Bluetooth enabled phone or musical device. The magical underwater light show works with the sound of music.

Included with the mechanism itself is an AC adapter.  To get started you first have to fully charge the battery for six hours by plugging the USB adapter into your computer's USB port or any standard wall adapter.  When the light indicator turns from red to blue you know it is charged.  The speaker indicator light will flash repeatedly and beep twice when the battery is low.

There is a "Power On/Off" button on the top of the speaker.  When it is turned on, the light show starts. The colors change and swirl around, resembling a disco ball effect.  For music, you need to turn the searching mode on your Bluetooth device.  When your device finds "GAMEBT", select it and connect.  A light will turn solid blue on your speaker when it is connected to Bluetooth and music will start playing.
The  Bluetooth Speaker and Underwater Light Show is waterproof for floating in the pool.  When the light show is turned on, the device will light up different colors and in sequence with the music.  It reminds me of a disco ball effect.

(The pool itself also lights up, so we've got a whole light show experience going on)
The sound quality was decent and clear.  There are volume controls on top.  I found that you need to keep the area between the speaker and your Bluetooth device free from distractions to keep from interrupting frequency.  Although we've only used this in the pool, there is a blue tab on top to allow the opportunity to hang the speaker.
GAME's Bluetooth Speaker and Underwater Light Show adds to the experience of our outdoor time.  The lights give a cool effect and we can listen to our favorite music while hanging around outside.

I had no idea that there was even a product like this available! I LOVE how it's waterproof so you can basically listen to your favorite music while swimming around not worrying about ruining an expensive piece of technology. So very awesome!
