It's been a short bit since
Stacy Uncorked has hosted Random Tuesday Thoughts. I'm hoping it's just a temporary hiatus. I'm still gonna play along and make up my own randomness.

It's another birthday for another kid! I can't even deal. How did they all grow up so fast?
Allyson turned 22 years old yesterday. She has a beautiful, free-spirited soul and brings out such positive energy. And her curls go on for days.

Shelby, our oldest, got hired on at Pepsi earlier in the week. That makes three of them working for the same company. First Logan and Adam, and now her. Before long, we'll be owning the company!

Seniors on Cross Country team
Sunday we went to Logan's last Cross Country banquet. The entire team was recognized for their achievements and the Seniors were presented with gifts.
Logan has had a few colleges take interest in him, and have offered athletic scholarships for Cross Country and Track. All four years of running with blood, sweat and tears have paid off. Now, we wait to see which college he's going with.

I come out from church the other day to find these magnets stuck on the hood of my vehicle.
There's some things that people know I'm particularly anal about and magnets are one of them. And, this is what I get!

Logan with girlfriend, Whitney
The boys have been busy preparing for Homecoming next weekend. Which, of course, means this mom is corralled into helping. I'm most excited about this year's Homecoming because it's the first that Adam is going to.
Our conversation used to go like this:
Me - Adam, are you going to Homecoming or Prom this year? It's your last chance.
Adam - Heck no. I spend eight hours a day with these people. Why would I pay to spend an evening with them?
Me - Because it's memories. Memories that will last.
Adam - Nope. And when have you ever seen me want to dress up?
So, I was shocked (and giddy inside) when he mentioned he would be going to Homecoming this year. Girls - they'll make you change your mind every time!

Some time ago I got a large coloring poster from Five Below. My hubby came up with the handy dandy idea to adhere it to our kitchen table. Once it's all colored it, he will cover it with clear paint. I've had help from a few friends getting it colored, but it's going to be a timely project. Now, I just have to keep it clean from dirt and debris until it's finished.

What's your randomness for the week? Hope you're having a good one.
