Kids can sometimes be reluctant to take a bath. They think of all sorts of excuses why there's no need to simply sit in some water and get their bodies clean. Sometimes, it's out of anxiety. I, along with most mothers, know that it can take some creativity to get children not to dread bath time. We buy toys and materials to get them excited. Rubber duckies, floating figurines, and other goodies are dumped in the bath water with our kids, hoping it makes the experience more fun.An innovative way to get kids more excited about bath time is SoapSox. They are the next generation of washcloths for kids. Each SoapSox critter looks like a typical stuffed animal, yet they are designed to go in the bath. Every SoapSox is “stuffed” with an antimicrobial sponge on the inside.
SoapSox® was originally developed after CEO/founder Ray Phillips was working with children of trauma in a residential treatment facility and noticed that one of the most difficult times of the day was bath time. With SoapSox®, kids have a cuddly companion to take in the tub with them to ease their fears.
SoapSox work like a washcloth in that bar soap can be stuffed inside the entry point opening or liquid soap can be poured in there. Once the soap is in, dunk the SoapSox in water and allow it to lather. Kids can then use the SoapSox to gently wash their entire body. Built-in child-size finger pockets allow children to easily grasp the SoapSox and keep a firm grip while cleaning.
There are twelve SoapSox creatures available, ranging from dragons and stingrays to sharks and whales. They all have their own names. I received Hunter the Gator. Six Disney-themed SoapSox are also available for purchase.
Made with soft terry polyester cloth on the outside, SoapSox can be washed and dried for long-time use. SoapSox are an adorably fun way for kids to get excited about bath time. An added plus is that each purchase of SoapSox gives back to organizations that provide safe places for children.

Yes, my grand daughter loves taking a bath, she will cry when I take her out even though the water has gotten cold. This would be a fun bath toy and she can learn to wash herself at the same time.
I do not have instagram and so I will not be able to follow on there. I can only handle so many social media accounts.
Thanks.
It used to be so hard to get the kids to get in the tub without a slew of bath toys. Even then they'd just splash & play in the water. One of these Soapsox scrubbies would have worked wonders. Now the grandkids are underfoot & we could sure use these!
